Cardinal Pell Conviction Upheld

The recent news that Cardinal Pell has failed in his appeal in relation to his convictions of child sexual abuse has been welcomed by many survivors of abuse and is welcomed by Artemis Legal. Cardinal Pell was responsible for the architecture of the compensation to the survivors of Catholic Church abuse under the Melbourne Response scheme set up by him in the early 1990s. The Melbourne Response that was then used as the basis of the national Towards Healing Scheme. Justice is a very important part of the healing process for any survivor.
