Moody Law is a boutique plaintiff law firm based in North Sydney. We have a proud reputation of acting for and protecting the rights of people.  

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer to join our growing team. You will be managing clients and working as part of a busy team helping survivors of historical child abuse in personal injury claims.  

The Candidate 

The successful candidate will be responsible for building complex civil claims for survivors of historical child abuse. Ideally, the successful candidate will possess the following attributes:  

• 3+ years PQE 

• Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction between clients, colleagues and team members. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Drafting skills. 

• Self- motivated and organised. 

• Prior experience or knowledge of personal injury claims is not mandatory but will be considered favourably. 

The key tasks include: 

• Managing clients from diverse backgrounds and provide high quality legal advice. 

• Drafting of legal correspondence including advices, chronologies, position papers, pleadings, briefs for counsel and evidence bundles.  

• Drafting of client correspondence. 

• Legal research.  

• File administration.
