Red Bend Catholic College
Red Bend Catholic College is an independent Roman Catholic co-educational secondary day and boarding school run by the Marist Brothers, located in Forbes in the Central West region of New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1926, the College has enrolled approximately 800 students from Year 7 to Year 12.
The school has been involved with various cases and allegations of child sexual abuse. This includes (amongst others) Kevin Francis Hogan – known as Brother Callixtus Hogan. The Marist Brothers have been forced to make out-of-court settlements with three former Catholic schoolchildren (two males and one female) who encountered Brother Kevin Callixtus Hogan in the 1960s when he was principal at Red Bend Catholic College.
We invite former students, teachers and parents to contact us to tell us confidentially what information they may have, and we will explain what options are available to help with these cases.
