Brother Fabian Jordan
Brother Fabian Jordan (born John Joseph Jordan born October 1927) was a former member of the Christian Brothers who served in Victoria and Western Australia at the following institutions:
St Augustine’s Boys’ Home - Geelong, Vic;
St Vincent’s Boy’s Home - South Melbourne, Vic;
Christian Brothers College - Fremantle, WA; and
Tardun Farm School - Tardun, WA.
It is reported that Brother Fabian Jordan in 1999 was sentenced to a 12-months good behaviour bond for the indecent assault of a 13-year-old boy at St Augustine's in the early 1960s. Royal Commission records also indicate that the Christian Brothers were not happy with Brother Jordan’s behaviour with boys at Tardun Farm School and was subsequently removed from there in 1958.
Brother Fabian Jordan left the Christian Brothers later on in his life and it is reported to have retired in South Australia.
Moody Law has in the past and is still representing clients who have made allegations of sexual and physical abuse against members of the Christian Brothers at various schools and institutions around Australia.
